I think it is because they just hang out with the other male chars and not really much with the ladies... And the hairdo is well ehhh, girly (LOLZ) but that wuz late 80s (i think) anime style at that time. I liked the show, it was just to see what you have in mind concerning the show, im not gay, im just a critiquer, just as what my name implies. It was good anyway.
